TCF acquires lands and historic buildings to be established as The Commons for Perpetuity and used for the common good. These properties are contained within or are adjacent to communities, are maintained for the health and welfare of the general public for natural bio-historical or human historical venues. TCF land acquisitions for The Commons preserve native flora and fauna, natural resources, and help protect the rights of all species and community members to the Common Resources of their natural landscapes, clean air, and clean water. We strive to transform monoculture or fallow agri-rural lands into high-diversity eco-scapes for Carbon Capture programs.

Environmental EDUCATION
TCF supports research programs to better understand Wilderness, Buffer Zones, and The Commons by inviting scientists from around the world to study the ecosystems designated by the Foundation. We educate the general public on ecological issues, both local and global, through gatherings, formal talks, Scientific Chautauquas and curriculum development.
|
cREATION OF sustainable COMMUNITies and non-profit housing
TCF non-profit, affordable, sustainable housing programs strive to embed our high-quality, energy efficient homes in spacious, re-wilded tracts of native species. In support of this housing, TCF provides positive amenities, such as buildings for The Arts, Science education centers, fitness facilities, and schools.
|
Supporting the Arts and cultures
TCF supports the full spectrum of The Arts by providing venues for the public exposition of works of art and music, purchasing property for community art galleries, promoting art education and appreciation in communities, and finding financial support for artists. We give special consideration to those artists who are sensitive to Nature and allow it to inspire their works. Native cultures of the Pacific are a priority, as is the Art of indigenous peoples throughout the world.

Now let's WORKConserve
We can all conserve energy and other resources by reducing our consumption, but also by rethinking what is truly rewarding in life and acting accordingly. Conservation of Nature begins with the habits and perspectives of self.

IT'S UP TO USChange
We must change from a lifestyle of quantity to one of quality. Change from apathy to action. Change from ignorance to knowing. Change from silence to contribution to a great conversation and an exchange of ideas for a healthy future.
